A storm of chickens? Self-assembling walls? Robots that escape mazes? Learn the fundamentals of computer programming by writing code that allows you to perform ‘magic’ in the world of Minecraft.

Camp Overview

Minecraft modifications make the game behave in completely new and interesting ways. In this Think Camp we start off by creating our own mini-mods that allow us to be superheros in our very own world – controlling the weather, spawning lightning and animals at will.

We quickly move on to harnessing our new found power to explore some more interesting coding ideas – some of us going on to create a tiny code based mini-game. We then recruit the Minecraft Agent – a robot helper who, through the use of code, can be commanded to build detailed creations for us.

This is a camp that bridges the world of Minecraft and code in the most exciting of ways.
