Course Overview
In this short, 4-lesson course, students will be introduced to the most powerful techniques for creating software with AI. We will explore AI prompting from within a professional development environment, and learn how to use AI to generate, test and deploy code.
We will end the course with a personal project where students will create and share their very own website. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate and will be eligible to join our 8-lesson, 'Fundementals of Development with AI' course.

Course Curriculum
A thoughtfully designed learning journey to introduce young minds to AI development tools and techniques over four weeks.
Lesson 1: Basic Prompting
In lesson one, we familiarise ourselves with Visual Studio Code. We learn best practice around initiating projects and how to use Microsoft Copilot to create simple web based components such as buttons and text.

Lesson 2: Editing Outputs
In lesson two, we learn how to edit the outputs generated by AI. We explore the difference between creating code with AI and editing code with AI.

Lesson 3: Elements of a Website
In lesson 3, we explore the basic components of a standard static website. We learn some introductory web-development principles and how these can be applied to AI development.

In lesson 4, we apply all the skills we have learned to create a simple website of our choice. We conclude the session by learning how to host our websites publically to share it with the world.
