Who we are
Think Camp ("we", "us") runs technology holiday camps for children in South Africa. This policy describes how we collect and use information when you visit thinkcamp.co.za, contact us, or book a camp. Questions or requests: support@thinkcamp.co.za.
Information we collect
- Contact and booking details you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, and the details needed to register a child for a camp (handled with our ticketing partner).
- Messages and enquiries you send through our forms or by email.
- Usage data collected automatically when you browse the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and identifiers stored in first-party cookies.
- Photos and video captured at our camps and events.
How we use it
We use this information to operate and improve our camps and website; to respond to you; to process bookings; to send you information about upcoming camps and related programmes; to understand how the site is used; and to measure and improve our marketing, including advertising on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Photos and video from camps may be used in our marketing materials.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies and analytics tools (including Microsoft Clarity and Meta's Conversions API) to understand site usage and attribute bookings to the campaigns that drove them. Where personal details are shared with advertising platforms for measurement, they are hashed before being sent.
Sharing
We share information with the service providers that help us run Think Camp — ticketing, payments, email, analytics, and advertising platforms — and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and your rights
We keep information for as long as it is useful for the purposes above. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of marketing, at any time by emailing support@thinkcamp.co.za.
Children
Bookings are made by parents or guardians. We collect only the information about campers that we need to run a safe camp day, and we do not knowingly market to children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always live at this address.
